Kathleen Neal, APR
Kathleen A. Neal, APR, has worked with more than 30 national, regional and local nonprofit organizations as staff, board member, volunteer or consultant. In 2001, her book, A Primer on Nonprofit PR, was published by Pineapple Press. At the time, this was the only book addressing this vital topic.
Early in her career, Kathleen worked at two Atlanta TV stations in promotions and public service. Also, she served as Associate Editor of Presenting the Season Magazine for two years and continued to work with the publication for another year, writing a column about Washington, D.C. READ MORE....
In 2001, Kathleen founded Arnold Neal Communications Inc. to consult with clients in the nonprofit and small business sectors.
Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America, Kathleen regularly serves as a judge for award competitions, conducts seminars and provides writing workshops for clients.
Kathleen earned a BA in English and speech from Wesleyan College in Macon, Ga., and an MA in urban life from Georgia State University in Atlanta. An accomplished writer, she recently was accepted into membership by American Pen Women.
